A few folks who have watched my Trailblazer videos have asked some general questions about automotive tools. Is brand X any good? Do I need the fancy ratchet that you showed in your spark plug video? What tools should I buy? Some things are easier to say then to type, so I made this video. These are the basic tools that I think everyone working in their driveway should have. I split this video up into three parts: hand tools, wheel and tire tools, and misc stuff. Hand tools: things for everyday jobs like maintainence, changing light bulbs, interior trim removal, things like that Wheel and tire tools: Tools for safely supporting your vehicle and doing things like rotating tires, swapping wheels, checking brakes, etc. Misc: Basic diagnostic stuff, test equipment, and service info I really didn't want the video to run as long as it did, but I felt that all of the stuff shown is important. Now, as far as what brand is best, you can see that I use a variety of brands and don't really have a preference. I get what works for me. So if the Snap On 1/2" breaker bar works for me, I get it. If the harbor freight trim tool works for me, I get it. Get what works for you and fits your budget. If you like what you see, subscribe!!!
