Over the last 11 years the blower switch/connector would melt and cause an inoperative blower motor in my pickup. I never found any root cause despite sinking some serious diag time into this. Without evidence, I'm not throwing parts at this problem. I've seen my share of GM melted blower connectors, and every time, I either have a blower drawing too much current or too much voltage drop, neither of which ever happened here. The last time that this happened, I installed a toggle switch to trip a relay to have speed 3. Over the next three YEARS, there wasn't a single issue with this temporary setup. My conclusion was that the design of this system is the reason it fails. The alternative fix was to remove any serious current from the blower switch, and two years later she's still holding up great. I'm calling this one done. If and when this fix fails, I'll update this. Blower connector: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00... Blower switch: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00... Also as shown in the video the 15,000 subscriber special giveaway is still on! I'm going to keep giving out clues until someone wins the tools. Keep looking and good luck!
